Website design and development

Websites built around how a business actually operates, structured so people can find what they need and act on it. Standalone, or connected to the system that runs the business behind it.

What we build

Sites that carry weight, not brochures

Every page is there to do a job: explain the offer, answer the objection or capture the enquiry. If a page cannot say which of those it does, it does not get built.

Marketing sites

Positioning, structure and pages that explain what a business does and who it is for.

Product and service pages

Pages built around a single offer, with the detail a buyer needs before enquiring.

Booking and enquiry flows

Forms and booking journeys that capture the right information and route it somewhere useful.

Multi-language sites

One site serving several markets, with language and regional formatting handled properly.

Content structure

Information architecture and markup that search engines can read without guessing.

Rebuilds and migrations

Replacing a site that has outgrown its platform, without losing the pages that already rank.

How we approach it

Four rules we do not bend

Structure before styling

We agree what each page has to do and what it must say before any visual work starts. Design follows the argument, not the other way round.

One direction per brand

A site gets a single, committed visual direction. Layouts, type and colour come from one system rather than being assembled page by page.

Performance and accessibility as build requirements

Load speed, keyboard access and contrast are checked as part of the build, not treated as improvements to schedule later.

The content stays yours

Copy, images and structure are handed over in a form you can edit and keep, along with the accounts they live in.

What is included

Every build ships with this

  • A design system covering type, colour, spacing and components
  • Responsive layouts checked from small phones through to wide desktops
  • SEO foundations: titles, descriptions, headings, structured data and a sitemap
  • Analytics and consent handling wired in from launch
  • Accessible forms with validation and clear error messages
  • Handover documentation covering how to edit, publish and extend the site
With a Business Operating System

A site that plugs into the operation

When a business runs a Voltalyze Business Operating System, the website is not a separate island. Bookings made on the site land in the system. Enquiries become records rather than emails. Client details, services and availability come from one place, so the site never shows something the business cannot deliver.

If you are not running a system yet, the site is built so it can be connected later rather than rebuilt.

Process

From enquiry to support

  1. 1

    Enquiry

You send the form. We read it and come back with questions worth asking.

  2. 2

    Scope

We agree the pages, the content owner for each one and a fixed shape of work.

  3. 3

    Design

One direction, reviewed on real content rather than placeholder text.

  4. 4

    Build

Pages built responsively, with performance and accessibility checked as we go.

  5. 5

    Review

You walk the site, we correct, then we run the launch checks together.

  6. 6

    Launch

Domain, analytics, search console and redirects handled on the day.

  7. 7

    Support

A period of fixes and small changes after launch, agreed up front.

Questions

Before you enquire

How long does a website take?
It depends on the number of pages and how ready the content is. A focused site with clear content moves quickly. Most of the delay on any project comes from waiting for copy, images and approvals, so we agree who owns each of those before we start.
Who writes the content?
You know the business better than we do, so the raw material comes from you. We structure it, edit it for the web and tell you where something is missing or unclear. If you would rather we draft it, that is scoped as part of the work.
Who owns the files and the hosting?
You do. Domains, hosting, analytics and any third-party accounts are registered in your name or transferred to you at handover. Nothing is held hostage in a Voltalyze account.
How do revisions work?
Revisions are part of the design and review stages rather than an add-on. The scope sets what is included, and anything that changes the agreed shape of the site is quoted separately before it is built.
What happens after launch?
There is an agreed support period for fixes and small changes. After that you can keep editing the site yourself, or arrange ongoing support if you would rather we handle it.
Can you work with an existing brand?
Yes. If you already have a logo, colours and type, we build to them. If the identity is holding the site back, we will say so and you can decide whether to address it separately.
